8.Metta Suttaṃ
[Index][pali][faus] [than][norm]
This is what is to be done
by the attained-to-the-skillful
for the understanding of the friendly way:
Let them be able,
straight,
upright,
easy to speak to,
pliable,
not prideful,
content,
happy,
of few wishes,
easy,
peace-loving,
intelligent,
not forward,
not greedy as to friends,
and not of low conduct,
a thing which others find blameable.
May all beings be happy,
peaceful and
attain security.
Whatever breathing beings there are,
moveable, or
stationary,
with none left out,
long, or
whatever is great, or
middle-sized, or
short,
minute or huge,
Whether they are seen, or
not seen
whether they are far
or near
being, or
seeking to be,
May all beings be happy,
peaceful and
attain security.
Deceive not one another,
nor dispise anyone anywhere,
wish not pain upon another,
retaliating with anger at perception of anger,
