[77][pts][olds] "Next to nothing, monks, is loss of relatives.

This is the worst loss: loss of discernment."

[78][pts][olds] "Next to nothing, monks, is increase in relatives.

This is the foremost increase: increase in discernment.

Therefore, monks, you should train yourselves:

'We will grow in the increase of discernment.'

That's how you should train yourselves."

This is the worst loss: loss of discernment."

This is the foremost increase: increase in discernment.

Therefore, monks, you should train yourselves:

[ed1]N.B.: WP, citing 'CE' uses a different sutta-grouping, stating 'The CE arrangement has the advantage of keeping thematically paired suttas together.' But see #s 50-51; 60-61; 70-71 ... . The sutta groupings are either arbitrary or indicate the continuity of the whole — not thematically consistent groups which quickly becomes impossibly confused. Bhikkhu Thanissaro has chosen to use this arrangement.
