[1] The PTS Pāḷi does not have titles; Woodward gives the negative form of the subject as the pattern to use for the titles; the BJT uses the positive form of the subject for the titles. Bhk. Bodhi uses the positive form of the subject as the pattern to use for the titles.

[2] There is no nidana for this group of suttas.

[3] Micchā-diṭṭhi. Woodward: "There is no gift,
no offering,
no sacrifice;
there is no fruit or ripening of deeds
well done or ill done;
this world is not,
the world beyond is not;
there is no mother,
no father,
no beings supernaturally born;
there are no recluses and brāhmins in the world
who have gone right,
who fare rightly,
men who by their own comprehension
have realized this world
and the world beyond
and thus declare.'
The reverse of this list is also sometimes called "Sammā Ditthi", right or consummate view. See AN 10 176 for both positive and negative examples of this version.

[4] These links point to detailed explanations of these terms found in The Pali Line.

[5] The PTS text for this and the next one is "ñāṇa" and "vimutti" (knowledge and freedom) where what I am translating is "vijja" and "upekkha". For an explanation of my choice here see the Note on Terminology under Sammā Vijja in The Pali Line.
