who are first to receive food-tickets
is Kuṇḍa-Dhāna.[71]

[71] Cf. Brethr. 19; Ap. 81. The name is that of a town of the Koliyans (UdA. 122). Kuṇḍa was a yakkha who lived in a forest. Comy. calls him Dhāna-Koṇḍa (? crooked, cripple). Cf. SA. ii on S. iv, 63 (Puṇṇa).
