[1] THUS have I heard:
Once the Exalted One addressed the monks, saying:
"Monks."
"Yes, lord," they replied, and the Exalted One said:
"Monks, these ten states end in restraint of lust, malice and delusion,
but only in the discipline of the Wayfarer.
What ten?
Right view,
right thinking,
right speech,
right action,
right living,
right effort,
right mindfulness,
right concentration,
right knowledge,
right release.
'These are the ten states,
that end in restraint of lust, malice and delusion,
but only in the discipline of the Wayfarer."
